RCMP Heritage Centre Reopens to Public Friday, April 1

Free admission day planned for April 9 to include live K9 demonstrations

REGINA – The RCMP Heritage Centre will reopen its doors to the public Friday, April 1, 2022, after a temporary three-month closure to work on maintenance, cleaning, and restructuring.

“We are excited to be reopening our doors to the public once again,” RCMP Heritage Centre CEO Tara Robinson said. “Our team has worked diligently to prepare to reopen and welcome guests back to experience all the RCMP Heritage Centre has to offer.”

To celebrate the reopening, the RCMP Heritage Centre has planned an admission free day on Saturday, April 9 from 11AM to 5 PM.

“Our free admission day will be full of wonderful experiences for youth, families and tourists including live demonstrations from a K9 Unit with the RCMP’s Police Dog Service,” Robinson said. “Guests will also be able to participate in s a variety of other activities including scavenger hunts, guided tours, an opportunity to crack the case, and more.

Starting April 1, 2022, the Centre will be open seven days a week from 11AM to 5PM.
