In 1873, the Northwest Mounted Police was formed to help police the Dominion of Canada’s new laws, prevent invasion, and help settle the new land in the west. We’ll take a virtual walk through the RCMP Heritage Centre to learn about the formation of the RCMP, their journey west, and their role in the formation of Canada.
