Two compelling visiting exhibits at the RCMP Heritage Centre that explore military service, storytelling, and lived experience. Presented in partnership with the Royal United Services Institute of Regina (RUSI Regina), Who Wears the Uniform? Stories of Modern Service in Saskatchewan and MISSION: AFGHANISTAN share firsthand accounts from Canadian Armed Forces members through interviews, photographs, artifacts, and personal reflections. Both exhibits are included with regular admission.
Who Wears the Uniform? Stories of Modern Service in Saskatchewan
Through personal interviews, photographs, and artifacts, this exhibit shares the firsthand experiences of Canadian Armed Forces members from Saskatchewan. Visitors are invited to explore stories of service, sacrifice, resilience, and the people behind the uniform. Curated and designed by the Royal United Services Institute of Regina (RUSI Regina) and made possible through funding from the Veterans Affairs Commemorative Partnership Program.
MISSION: AFGHANISTAN
Presented in Saskatchewan for the first time, this travelling exhibit explores Canada's mission in Afghanistan through artifacts, and personal stories from those who served. Produced by Combined Forces in collaboration with the Department of National Defence, the Directorate of History and Heritage, and The Military Museums.
Fallen Heroes: Their Journey Home
Complement your visit with a screening of Fallen Heroes: Their Journey Home, a 95-minute documentary that explores the story behind the Ramp Ceremony and Canada's Highway of Heroes, honouring the service and sacrifice of Canadian Armed Forces members and their families.
