Depot Tours Are Back – June 4!
Experience a behind-the-scenes look at the RCMP Training Academy “Depot” Division, featuring special access to observe the daily Sergeant Major’s Parade on the historic parade square!
Hop aboard our trolleys for an hour-long, guided tour with stops at:
- The historic Chapel – the oldest building in Regina
- The Cenotaph and eternal flame – commemorating the brave Mounties who have lost their lives in duty
- Learn about the Town of Buffalo
- Observe the Sergeant Major’s Parade, where you’ll witness the incredible dismounted cavalry drill by real Cadets

Pre-registration holds your spot to guarantee you are on the tour on the day you select. There are 24 pre-registration spots available for every day the tour runs. Pre-registration payments are non-refundable except for the case of cancellation due to inclement weather.

Know Before You Go
- The RCMP Academy is an active training site and a secure facility. Access is controlled. No photography or filming will be permitted on any part of the tour.
- Guests must be at the Heritage Centre by 11:00 am to sign in for the tour, whether pre-registered or not.
- Guests who have pre-registered will be given priority access, and the remainder of the seats are first come, first served.
- Guests are required to register including; signing in at the Heritage Centre, providing full name and address, and providing photo ID, which will be kept in a secure place at the RCMP Heritage Centre for the duration of the tour of Depot.
- Bags and personal items, including phones, must be stored at the Heritage Centre during the tour of Depot. We have lockers for use and storage of personal items.
- Individuals with mobility challenges or disability are asked to call ahead.
Frequently Asked Questions
If I pre-registered, do I still have to arrive by 11:00 am? Yes – all guests, pre-registered and not, must be at the Heritage Centre to sign-in by 11:00 am.
Can I take photos or video? Photos and videos are prohibited. Because Depot is an active training facility, we ask for your cooperation in respecting privacy and adhering to this regulation.
