The RCMP Heritage Centre welcomes Budget 2024’s further investment in establishing the National RCMP Museum that Canadians have asked for
The Government of Canada announced today, through Budget 2024: Fairness for Every Generation that it will invest in reconciliation and Prairie economic development through $1.6 million in 2024 and $1.6 million in 2025-2026 for the RCMP Heritage Centre.
$1.6 million in 2024 will assist the Heritage Centre in continuing to take meaningful steps
toward becoming a Canadian National Museum, a process started in 2019 through a
mandate letter commitment for the Minister of Canadian Heritage.
