Thank-you to everyone who came out to join us on Canada Day for Family Mountie training! Families were able to complete activities that mirror cadet training at ‘Depot,’ including a driving challenge, target practice, an obstacle course, and testing your knowledge. We also had some fun activities such as the duck dunk, family mugshots, face painting, crafts, and much more! Everyone who completed the activities got to pick a prize to take home.
Canada Day at the Heritage Centre is unique as it provides a one-of-a-kind perspective on how the RCMP, one of Canada’s most recognizable aspects, came to be.
