Book – When the Trees Cracle with Cold – A Cree Seasons Activity Book

This activity book was created to accompany Bernice Johnson-Laxdal’s When the Trees Crackle with Cold : A Cree Calendar, a book about the moon calendar of northern Saskatchewan’s Cree peoples.

The Cree calendar consists of six seasons divided into twelve moons, which reflect the traditional knowledge of the natural cycle.
